COSC 4360 - Senior Project

In this course, students are required to deliver a software product and a final senior project report, which will go through the stages of requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. At the end of the semester, students must present their senior project report. The course objectives are as follows: students will develop the ability to draw reasonable inferences from observations and learn to formulate and solve new computer science problems using analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also develop the ability to synthesize and integrate information and ideas, think creatively, think holistically, and distinguish between facts and opinions. Additionally, students will develop the ability to work both individually and as part of a team, commit to accurate work, and develop management skills. The course will help improve their speaking and writing skills, ability to follow directions and plans, and ability to organize and use time effectively. Furthermore, students will cultivate the ability to work skillfully for personal achievement, gain an informed understanding of the role of science and technology, foster a lifelong love of learning, and cultivate a sense of responsibility for their own behavior while improving self-esteem and self-confidence.
